Hi, I’m Shubh, the founder of Distilled.

Distilled started because I realized something frustrating: 9 out of 10 companies are drowning in their own noise.

I spent years watching brilliant teams suffocate under "performance theater."

A former boss asked me for a strategic perspective on a project. He stopped me before I could open Keynote.

“Put it in a Google Doc, make it short.”

That constraint changed everything. When you strip away the transitions and the pixel-perfect shadows, all you have left is the truth. It forced a level of clarity I hadn’t seen in years. I realized then that what companies actually need isn't more bloat—it's sharp thinking and tangible outcomes.

So, I built Distilled to do exactly that.

But it’s about more than just efficiency. Life is too short to spend your talent on things that don’t matter. I’m not interested in helping people sell more lottery tickets or gambling apps.

My grandfather helped eradicate smallpox. I’m not saying I have his level of world-changing skill, but I do believe we are here to move the human race forward, even if it's just an inch.

We’ve designed platforms & crafted websites for neonatal screening and autism guidance. We’ve simplified messaging for emergency management software and designed end-to-end UX for emission-reducing systems for oil rigs. The more complex the problem, the more excited we get. We want the stuff that actually matters.

To do that work, I went out and found the best people in the world.

We don't hire "order takers."

Everyone here has to be client-facing. Everyone has to be able to defend their work. We hire people who have the guts to push back and challenge the status quo—not to be "cool" or difficult, but because that’s the only way to give our clients the guidance they actually need.
